How to make Vegan Chocolate Spread

Prepare all ingredients.

Fry the nuts until golden brown. Set aside.

Place a thin layer of sugar in the skillet. Melt it until it becomes a liquid caramel.

When the sugar turns to a brown liquid caramel, add the nuts. It is desirable that they are still warm, then there will be no temperature conflict. Stir gently to completely cover all the nuts.

Place the caramelized nuts on a silicone mat and let cool for 20-30 minutes.

Break the nut caramel into small pieces and blend until smooth and creamy. While chopping, open the blender bowl and use a spatula to scoop the nuts off the edges for the smoothest texture possible.

Melt dark chocolate in a water bath.

Add melted chocolate to nut butter, chop again until smooth.

Transfer the chocolate paste to a jar. You can store in the refrigerator or at room temperature, tightly closed.

Vegan chocolate spread is ready, bon appetit!
