How to cook "Beets and beans for the winter"
Prepare all ingredients.
Soak the beans overnight in water, then boil until tender.
Wash the beets, peel and grate on a coarse grater.
Combine all ingredients except vinegar in a saucepan. Stir and simmer over low heat for 25 minutes.
Then add vinegar and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Divide the snack into clean, pre-sterilized jars. Turn the jars upside down, wrap them in a towel and leave them to cool completely.
