How to make "Royal Apricot Jam"

Prepare all the ingredients you need.

Go through the apricots, remove the spoiled ones, wash and dry. Remove the pits with a wooden stick. To do this, gently pierce the apricot on one side, squeezing out the nut on the other side. In this case, the apricot must remain intact.

Break the removed nuts and remove the kernels.

Insert the kernels inside the apricots through the holes from the extraction of the nut.

Use a toothpick or wooden skewer to puncture the surface of the apricots. So that later the skin does not burst.

Pour water and sugar into a container with a thick bottom. Put on low heat and bring to a boil and sugar dissolve.

Dip prepared apricots and bring to a boil. Turn off the heat and leave to infuse for 12 hours.

Put it back on fire and bring to a boil. Turn off and leave again for 12 hours. Do this one more time.

Bring to a boil one last time over low heat and add lemon juice. Cook for 2 minutes.

Remove from heat.

Wash two 0.5 liter cans with baking soda and sterilize over steam for 5 minutes. Boil the iron lids for 3 minutes.

Pour the prepared jam into hot jars and swirl immediately. Turn the cans over, wrap them up and leave until they cool completely.

The jam is ready! Enjoy your meal!
