Below I will explain in more detail how to make vegan gingerbread. This is a basic recipe, if you want, you can add cocoa powder for chocolate gingerbread to the dough, jam filling, mint syrup or spices to taste.

- Flour - 200 Grams
- Baking powder - 6 Grams
- Sugar - 150 grams (100 grams - for gingerbread, 50 grams - for icing)
- Water - 75 Milliliters (50 ml. - for gingerbread, 25 ml. - for icing)
- Vanilla Syrup - 1-3 Drops
- Vegetable oil - 25 Milliliters
How to make Vegan Gingerbread
Prepare all ingredients.
Mix sugar and water, bring to a boil and cook until sugar is completely dissolved. About 1 minute.
Cool the syrup slightly and transfer to a bowl. Add a few drops of vanilla syrup. Pour in vegetable oil and stir.
Sift half the flour and baking powder into a bowl. Stir.
Sift the rest of the flour onto a work surface. Add dough and knead. The dough should turn out to be plastic and not stick to your hands.
Divide the dough into 40-45 gram pieces. Roll balls out of them, flatten slightly. Bake in a preheated oven to 190 degrees for no more than 15 minutes.
For glaze, combine sugar and water, put on low heat. Bring to a boil and cook for about 2-3 minutes. Determine readiness drop by drop, it should not spread over the plate.
Add a couple of tablespoons of icing to a bowl and cover each gingerbread with it.
Leave to harden for half an hour.
