- White cabbage - 100 Grams

- Sweet paprika - 1/2 Teaspoon
- Ground black pepper - 1/4 Teaspoon
- Salt - To taste
- Tomato paste - 1 tbsp. the spoon

How to cook "Sauerkraut soup with lentils"

Prepare all ingredients.

Wash the potatoes, cut into cubes. Rinse the lentils in water.

Transfer to a saucepan with prepared broth. Simmer over medium heat for 20 minutes.

Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Fry all the spices. Add chopped onions and grated carrots. Sauté for about 5 minutes, then add the tomato paste.

Add frying to the soup. Cook for about 5 minutes.

Chop the cabbage thinly.

Then add sauerkraut and fresh cabbage. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook until the cabbage is soft.

Finally, add crushed garlic and finely chopped herbs. Remove from heat and let it brew for 15 minutes.
