A delicious version of everyone's favorite borscht. The dish turns out to be not only hearty and tasty, but also healthy! You can cook borscht with meat or in water, the latter option is ideal for anyone who is fasting. Take note of the recipe!

Ingredients:
- Water - 2.5 Liters (or meat broth)
- Beets - 1 Piece
- Carrots - 1 Piece
- Onion - 1 Piece
- Potatoes - 4-5 Pieces
- Garlic - 2-3 Cloves
- Tomato paste - 1.5 tbsp. spoons
- Cabbage - 200 Grams
- Green beans - 150 grams (asparagus)
- Vegetable oil - 30 Milliliters
- Sugar - 1.5 Teaspoons
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Salt - To taste
- Spices - To taste
- Greens - To taste

How to cook "Borscht with green beans"

Prepare all ingredients.

Pour broth or water into a saucepan, add salt to taste, bay leaf and bring to a boil.

When the broth boils, add the shredded cabbage.

After 5 minutes, add the diced potatoes to the pot.

While the vegetables are cooking, cook the roast. Heat a skillet with oil and add diced onions and grated carrots.

After a couple of minutes, add the grated beets.

When all vegetables are soft, add tomato paste, spices and sugar. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, then add the contents of the pan to the pan with the rest of the ingredients.

Add the beans 10 minutes before cooking.

At the very end, add chopped garlic and chopped herbs.

Borscht with green beans is ready. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes before serving.
