How to make Lentil Broccoli Soup

Prepare all ingredients. Soak lentils in water for 2-3 hours in advance. Drain water, rinse lentils.

Cover the lentils with water and simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes. Wash the potatoes, peel and cut into large cubes. Add to saucepan and cook for another 10 minutes.

Prepare all vegetables at this time. Wash the carrots, peel and grate on a coarse grater. Cut the onion into cubes. Wash the bell peppers, remove the seeds and cut into strips. Chop the garlic finely. Fry vegetables in a skillet until soft.

Disassemble the broccoli into small florets.
