Ingredients:
- Potatoes - 400 Grams
- Onion - 1 Piece
- Wheat flour - 450 grams
- Water - 250 Milliliters
- Fresh yeast - 20 grams
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon (in the dough)
- Sugar - 1 Tbsp. spoon (in dough)
- Sunflower oil - 150 Milliliters (40 ml. - in the dough, 110 ml. - for frying)

How to make "Pies like on the market"

Prepare the ingredients for making the patties.

Prepare the pie filling. Peel the potatoes, wash and place in a saucepan with salted water. Cook until tender. Then drain the water and mash the potatoes in mashed potatoes.

Peel, wash and finely chop the onions. Place in a skillet with sunflower oil and fry until golden brown. Then add to the mashed potatoes.

Toss the mashed potatoes with the fried onions.

Put the yeast in a bowl.

Add warm water, stir.

Pour in sunflower oil, add salt and sugar.

Add the sifted flour.

Knead a dough that does not stick to your hands. Place in a bowl, cover with cling film and place in a warm place.

After 35-40 minutes, the dough will increase in volume.

Divide the dough into 40-50 gram balls.

Roll each ball into a cake. Place the filling on the tortilla.

Fasten the edges of the cake, forming a patty. Then give the patty a flat shape.

Pour refined sunflower oil into the pan, heat it well and lay out the pies.

Fry the patties over a low-medium heat until golden brown.

The pies are ready as in the market. Serve hot.
