If you do not have a yogurt maker for further preparation of varenets, then pour warm milk into small jars, add sour cream, wrap and leave in a warm place, without drafts and turning for 8 hours. This option also turns out to be very tasty.

How to cook "Varenets in a slow cooker"

Prepare the required ingredients.

Pour boiling water over the multicooker bowl, dry. Pour milk into it. Put in a multicooker, select the "Extinguishing" mode.

The extinguishing time can vary from 2 to 4 hours. It took me 3 hours. The formation of a thick foam served as a signal of readiness. If you want to lower it while stewing, it must be done with a sterile spoon. I did not lower the foam, but took it off at the end of the process. She put it aside. Choose the method you want.

Take the yogurt maker jars. Pour the milk. Add 1 tsp to each jar. sour cream.

Spread the set foam on top.

Close with lids. Turn on the yogurt maker and leave for 8 hours. After the time has elapsed, put the jars in the refrigerator for 4 hours.

The finished varenets turned out to be thick and keeps its shape well.
