How to make "Homemade cheese without cottage cheese"

Prepare all the ingredients you need to make cottage cheese-free homemade cheese.

Pour milk into a saucepan, add sugar.

Add salt and stir. Salt is best taken large and not iodized. Place over medium heat and bring to nearly a boil.

Stir in vinegar and simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring.

The milk will curdle.

Throw the mass in a colander, covered in several layers of gauze. Let the whey drain. It can then be used for baking or making a whey-based drink.

Place the curd under the load. I have special baskets for making cheeses, I put the mass there. You can put the cheese under the load right in the cheesecloth in which the whey was drained.

Leave under load for 2-3 hours.

Remove the cheesecloth and transfer to a plate.
