How to make "Herring Sandwiches on Black Bread"

Prepare all the ingredients you need. Boil the beets in salted water, cool and peel.

Grate the beets, add finely chopped garlic and sour cream. Stir and salt to taste.

Cut portions of bread into halves and place the beets on top of them.

Place a piece of herring fillet on top of each sandwich.

Garnish with fresh herbs.
