How to make Madeira Cupcake

Prepare the indicated ingredients.

Place butter or quality margarine in the bowl of a mixer or food processor and add sugar and salt there. Remember that the oil should be at room temperature - this will churn up faster!

Whisk in the butter and sugar for about 2 minutes.

Beat 1 chicken egg into a container and beat everything for 2-3 minutes, until the egg is completely mixed into the mass. Then add 1 more chicken egg and beat. Add the third egg last and beat. Do not add all the eggs at once - the dough will exfoliate!

Scald the orange and grate the zest, add it to the bowl and stir.

Pour in wheat flour and baking powder, mix it into the dough at low engine speeds. Baking powder must be added!

The finished dough will turn out fluffy, bright. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, but not higher!

Line a baking dish with parchment paper, oil it and place the dough in the dish. Place the pan in the oven and bake the cake for about 40-50 minutes.

Remove the finished cake from the oven and turn the pan on its side so that the cake does not collapse, does not deflate. Leave it like this until it cools completely, about 1-2 hours. You only need to cut the cold dessert!

When serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into slices. It is insanely fragrant and colorful!
