- Elk - 600-700 Grams
- Potatoes - 7-8 Pieces (medium size)
- Mayonnaise - 2-3 tbsp. spoons

- Freshly ground pepper - To taste
- Vegetable oil - 1-2 Art. spoons (for greasing the mold)

How to cook "Elk with potatoes in the oven"

Prepare all the ingredients you need.

Before cooking, it is recommended to soak elk in water for 10-12 hours or pickle it. In this recipe, I suggest marinating the meat to get a rich taste and aroma. Cut the meat into pieces, add the mustard, chopped onion into half rings.

Also add half the mayonnaise and mix thoroughly. Season with salt to taste. Refrigerate for 10-12 hours.

Just before cooking, cut the potatoes into slices and place in a greased dish. Season with salt to taste.

Brush with the other half of the mayonnaise with a cooking brush.

Place the marinated meat on top. Cover the tin with foil and bake at 190 degrees for 45-50 minutes.

Then remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes. The dish is ready! Serve garnished with fresh herbs.
