Thyme borscht is a nutritious meal for the whole family. Due to the thyme, it turns out to be so aromatic and rich that it is impossible to come off. You can use both fresh and dried thyme for the recipe.

Ingredients:
- Chicken - 250 Grams (any parts)
- Potatoes - 250 Grams
- Water - 2.5 Liters
- Beets - 70 Grams
- Onion - 60 Grams
- Carrots - 60 Grams
- Tomato paste - 30-40 grams
- White cabbage - 300 Grams
- Dried thyme - 0.5 Teaspoons
- Vegetable oil - 40 grams
- Salt - To taste
- Black Pepper - To taste
- Dill - To taste

How to cook "Borscht with thyme"

Prepare your ingredients.

Pour the washed chicken meat with water and cook the broth for 20 minutes, add salt to taste. Remove the foam periodically.

Cut the potatoes into cubes.

Pour the potatoes into the broth and cook for 10 minutes.

Dice the onion and grate the carrots.

Fry the onions and carrots in a skillet with the addition of oil. Add dried thyme and stir.

Add grated beets and tomato paste to the vegetable fry.

Pour a couple of tablespoons of broth from a saucepan into the frying. Simmer for 3-4 minutes over low heat.

Chop the cabbage into strips.

Pour the cabbage into the broth, cook for 5 minutes.

Add vegetable frying to the borscht, cook for 2-3 minutes, add chopped dill to taste and you're done. Let the borscht brew for 10 minutes.

Serve the borscht hot. Enjoy your meal!
