Do not use a meat grinder, as the grains are very dense and may simply burn out or the knives may break. Depending on the quality of the oats, the jelly turns out to be just thick, or turns into jelly, which is cut with a knife or eaten with a spoon. Such jelly is very tasty together with kvass.

How to cook "Oatmeal jelly from whole oats"

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making oatmeal jelly from whole jelly.

First, wash whole oats thoroughly in warm water and fold them onto a sieve. After the water has drained, spread the oats on a clean cloth and dry completely. This will take about a day.

Then add clean, dry oats to the blender bowl and chop them as fine as possible.

Boil the filtered water and cool. Pour the chopped oats into a pot of water and stir.

Cover the pot with a clean cloth and set it in a cool place for 1.5 days. Then mix and strain through several layers of cheesecloth, squeeze.

Place over medium heat and bring to a boil. Cook, stirring, until thickened. Remove from heat and season with salt to taste. Pour into glasses or cups and let cool completely.
