How to make Carrot Saute

Prepare the indicated ingredients. Peel vegetables, rinse in water.

Pour vegetable oil into the cauldron, cut onions into large pieces and pour the slices into hot oil. Broil for about a minute.

Cut the carrots into large pieces or cubes, add to the container and fry with the onions on moderate heat for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown.

As soon as this happens, add granulated sugar and salt.

Add the dried mixture of Provencal herbs, ground black pepper, pour in warm water, broth or white table wine and simmer for about 10 minutes until the carrot slices are soft, but remember that it must hold its shape!

Taste the dish, tweak it if necessary, and turn off the heat.

Place the sautéed carrots on plates, chop the green onions after rinsing them, and sprinkle the slices on the finished dish when serving.
