Remember that not everyone likes wet waffle cakes, so it is better to check with guests in advance about their tastes, since the herring cake can be served immediately after cooking, while the cakes are crispy in it.

Ingredients:
- Carrots - 1 Piece (large)
- Potatoes - 1-2 Pieces (large)
- Herring in oil - 1 Piece (preserves)
- Wafer cake - 5-6 pieces
- Mayonnaise - 4 Tbsp. spoons (any fat content)
- Green onions - 3-4 Pieces (stem)
- Salt - 3-4 pinches

How to make "Herring cake on waffle cakes"

Prepare the indicated ingredients. Boil root vegetables in advance for 30 minutes, and chicken eggs for 12-15 minutes and cool in ice water.

Peel boiled root vegetables and chicken eggs, rinse thoroughly in water. Grate each food on a fine mesh grater into separate containers. To each of them add salt and mayonnaise of any fat content of your choice. Mix gently.

Spread the first waffle crust with potato mass, trying to distribute it evenly. Cover with a second cake layer.

Chop pieces of lightly salted herring, chop the washed stems of green onions and put on the second cake, distribute evenly. Lay out the third cake layer and brush over with the carrot paste.

Spread the last cake layer with egg mass and place on the carrot layer. If you have more ingredients, place them on waffle cakes and make a taller snack cake.

Garnish with chopped rinsed radishes and green onions, another spicy herb, before serving. If you like crunchy snacks, do not refrigerate the cake and vice versa.
