How to cook "Bulgarian pilaf"

Prepare all the ingredients you need.

Peel the onion with carrots, chop finely and fry in a preheated pan with vegetable oil for 5-7 minutes.

Peel the bell pepper from seeds, remove all partitions and cut into small cubes.

Add pepper to vegetables, stir and fry for 4-5 minutes.

Add rice to the pan.

Pour in a few glasses of warm water, add salt, pepper, pilaf spices, add garlic if desired. Cook pilaf for 25-30 minutes over medium heat with the lid closed.
