How to cook "Vigorous Sauerkraut"

Prepare your ingredients.

Peel the carrots, wash them, grate them on a coarse grater.

Wash and chop the cabbage.

Place the prepared vegetables in a deep bowl.

Add salt.

Mix everything well with your hands.

Place vegetables tightly in a glass jar. Cover it with food grade gauze. Send the jar to the refrigerator for 1-2 days. Periodically pierce the vegetables with a skewer and release the resulting gas.
