- Flour - 200 Grams
- Apples - 600 Grams
- Vegetable oil - 80 grams (refined)
- Water - 75 grams (boiling water)
- Sugar - 2-3 tbsp. spoons
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/4 Teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1 Teaspoon
- Starch - 1-2 Teaspoons

How to make Lenten biscuits

Prepare all ingredients.

Combine the sifted flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.

Add vegetable oil, stir.

Then pour in boiling water and knead to a homogeneous dough. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for half an hour.

Peel the apples and cut into wedges. Add starch and cinnamon. Stir.

Roll out the dough half a centimeter thick. Cut out circles about 16 cm in diameter from the dough.

Place the filling in the center and sprinkle with sugar.

Pinch the edges towards the center. Bake biscuits in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

Lenten biscuits are ready, you can sprinkle them with powdered sugar before serving. Enjoy your meal!
