- Green beans - 250 grams (fresh frozen)
- Water - 750 Milliliters
- Butter - 30 Grams
- Wheat flour - 0.75 Art. spoons
- Lemon Juice - 20 Milliliters (freshly squeezed)
- Garlic - 1 Clove
- Salt - To taste
- Black pepper - To taste
How to make Green Bean Sauce
Prepare the required ingredients.
Transfer the beans to a saucepan and cover with water. Put on medium heat, cook after boiling for 30 minutes until soft. If the water boils, add a little, just to cover the beans.
Once the beans are soft, add chopped garlic, butter, salt and pepper to taste. Stir and cook for another 15 minutes.
In a separate bowl, stir the flour with 2 tbsp. l. flour. Stir well.
Pour the diluted flour into a pot of beans, stir and remove from heat.
Using a hand blender, beat the beans until smooth.
Pour the sauce into a gravy boat and refrigerate. Sprinkle with herbs as desired.
Serve green bean sauce with meat, poultry, or toast. Enjoy your meal!
