Steaming dumplings is not much different from ordinary dumplings. The filling, as in the latter, can be very diverse. This option is one of the favorites in our family, I hope you will like it too. The vegetable oil for the filling can be replaced with a small piece of twisted bacon, it will turn out just magical! Take note!

- Water - 150 Milliliters
- Flour - 350-400 Grams
- Egg - 1 Piece
- Onion - 1 Piece
- Potatoes - 700 Grams
- Onions - 2-3 Pieces
- Vegetable oil - 3 Tbsp. spoons
- Salt - To taste
- Spices - To taste
How to cook "Dumplings with steamed potatoes"
Prepare all ingredients.
Pour water into a deep bowl, add egg, salt, 1 tbsp. vegetable oil. Whisk everything a little.
Add flour in portions.
Knead a firm and elastic dough, gather it into a ball, cover with a towel and leave for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, cut the potatoes into small cubes, the smaller the better.
Add finely diced onion, salt, oil and your favorite spices.
Mix everything well. The filling is ready.
Cut a piece from the dough, roll it out with a sausage, cut into small pieces and roll the pieces in flour.
Then roll each piece into a circle.
Place the filling in the center.
And pinch the dumplings in any convenient way.
Grease the steamer rack with oil and add the dumplings. Steam the dumplings for about 30 minutes.
