Ingredients:
- Rice - 150 Grams
- Mussels in oil - 120 Grams
- Onions - 0.5 Pieces
- Vegetable oil - 2 Teaspoons
- Cream - 150 Milliliters (15% fat)
- Salt - 3 Pinches
- Ground black pepper - 1 Pinch
- Water - 500 Milliliters (for rice)

How to cook "Rice with mussels in a creamy sauce"

Prepare the indicated ingredients. Peel the onions, rinse and halve. Use half for the dish.

Rinse the rice in several waters until the liquid remains clear. Pour it into a cauldron, add a couple of pinches of salt, pour in hot water and boil the cereal for about 12-15 minutes until tender. Leave the porridge under the steaming lid.

Cut half the onion into small cubes. Heat vegetable oil and fry the onion slices in it until golden brown. Add mussels in oil. You can also use frozen mussels, after cleaning them. Fry for about 1-2 minutes.

Pour in the cream, salt and pepper. Simmer the sauce for about 1-2 minutes.

Once the cream is saturated with the seafood aroma and flavor, turn off the heat.

Put the boiled rice on a plate, top with the mussels in a creamy sauce and serve the dish, garnished with fresh herbs.
