How to make Orange Filled Biscuits
Prepare your ingredients.
Grind flour, chilled butter and 90 grams of sugar into crumbs.
Add the egg, salt, baking powder, and sour cream to the flour mixture.
Knead the dough, do not knead for a long time, so that the butter does not melt. Wrap the dough in foil and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
While the dough is chilling, add the filling. Rinse the orange with boiling water, cut into wedges, remove the seeds and punch in a blender.
Add 50 grams of sugar and 1 tablespoon of starch to the orange mass, mix.
Roll out the dough into a layer about 3-4 mm thick. Apply the orange filling, 2 cm short of the edges.
Roll the dough into a roll using a silicone mat.
Mix the yolk with a tablespoon of milk.
Brush the dough roll with the milk-yolk mixture.
