Juicy and appetizing forshmak will appeal to all fish lovers. You can take it with you on a trip, to a picnic, prepare sandwiches, canapes with it and fill tartlets with it. The shelf life of the dish does not exceed two days, but it is unlikely to live up to the withered period - it will fly apart immediately when served.

- Herring - 150 Grams (preserves)
- Potatoes - 2 Pieces (boiled)
- Egg - 2 Pieces (boiled)
- Butter - 60 grams
- Green apple - 1 Piece (sour)
- Green onions - 2-3 Pieces (stem)
- Salt - 1-2 pinches
How to cook "Potato forshmak"
Prepare the indicated ingredients. You can buy preserves with herring or lightly salted herring fillets.
Boil potatoes and chicken eggs in advance, cool, peel and shell, rinse in water. Dice the potatoes and pour into the chopper bowl. If you plan to grind everything in a meat grinder, then use it.
Cut the washed boiled chicken eggs into cubes and add to the container. Rinse the green onion stalks, chop and add to the same. If green onions are not available, use white onions or pickled onions.
Cut the herring into cubes, after removing the pits. Add to container.
Spread out quality butter, but not frozen, but soft.
Grind everything into a homogeneous mass like a paste.
Pour the mixture into a deep container. Peel the apple and grate it on a fine grater. Stir and taste the forshmak with potatoes. Add salt and pepper if necessary, stir.
Put the prepared dish in a bowl or bowl, serve chilled.
