Easter cakes are a great baking idea. This form is especially popular with children, because they are so reminiscent of their favorite dessert "Baba Rum". It's very simple to prepare them, I share the recipe!

Ingredients:
- Flour - 250 Grams
- Milk - 140 Grams
- Yeast - 7 Grams (fresh, pressed)
- Sugar - 5 Tbsp. spoons (2 tablespoons - in the dough, 3 tablespoons - in syrup for impregnation)
- Salt - 1 Pinch
- Vanilla Sugar - 1 Teaspoon
- Butter - 60 grams (softened)
- Egg - 2 Pieces
- Raisins - 50 Grams
- Water - 150 Milliliters (for making syrup)
- Cognac - 2 Art. spoons
- Powdered sugar - 100 Grams
- Lemon juice - 2 Tbsp. spoons
- Sugar powder - 30 Grams

How to cook "Mini Easter cakes"

Prepare your ingredients.

Add sugar (2 tablespoons), salt, yeast to warm milk, stir.

Add 2 tablespoons of flour (total). Stir so that there are no lumps, let the dough stand for 10-15 minutes to activate the yeast.

Whisk 2 eggs into a bowl and shake well.

Add vanilla sugar to the sifted flour.

Add scrambled eggs, add flour to the dough, knead the dough.

Add softened butter to the dough, beat well again with a mixer until smooth.

Cover the dough with cling film, put in a warm place to ferment for 1 hour.

Roll the washed and dried raisins in flour.

Stir the raisins into the dough.

With wet hands, spread the dough into molds, previously greased with butter. Prove for 30-40 minutes.

After proofing, the dough in the tins increased in volume by about 2 times.

Bake mini cakes at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Check readiness with a wooden toothpick.

Prepare the impregnation syrup by dissolving 3 tablespoons of sugar in 150 ml. water, add cognac, cool slightly.

Free the cakes from the paper form.

Dip the cakes on all sides in the sugar syrup.

Prepare the icing with 100 grams of powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. If the icing is runny, add the icing sugar and vice versa. Using a spoon or a brush, apply the glaze to the surface of the Easter cakes, decorate with sprinkling sugar.
