- Water - 500 Milliliters
- Turnip - 350-400 Grams
- Boiled or canned chickpeas - 200 grams (150 grams - for soup, 50 grams - for baking)
- Carrots - 1 Piece
- Cream - 100-120 Milliliters
- Olive oil - 1 tbsp. the spoon
- Smoked paprika - To taste
- Ground black pepper - To taste
- Salt - To taste
- Lemon juice - 1-2 Tbsp. spoons

How to cook "Soup with turnips and chickpeas"

Prepare all ingredients.

Peel the carrots and turnips, then cut into cubes. Transfer to a saucepan.

Cover vegetables with water. Let it boil, season with salt to taste and cook until vegetables are soft.

Sprinkle some of the chickpeas with olive oil, add spices and put in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees.

Add the rest of the chickpeas to a saucepan and pour in the cream.

Grind the soup with an immersion blender, add lemon juice and black pepper to taste.

When serving, add the spiced chickpeas and fresh herbs. Enjoy your meal!
