Preparing kharcho soup with turkey is simple. If you cook the broth in advance, then its preparation will take 35-40 minutes. Put spices and garlic according to your preferences. Traditionally, these are hops-suneli, ground black pepper. The classic kharcho soup is boiled with the addition of Georgian tkemali sauce, which adds acidity. But tomato paste and fresh tomatoes in the form of fruit drink also do an excellent job of their role in this dish. The turkey kharcho soup is delicious, unusually aromatic and satisfying.

- Turkey Shoulder - 400 Grams
- Water - 1.5 Liters
- Rice - 100 Grams
- Onions - 2 Pieces (medium size)

How to cook "Turkey kharcho soup"

Prepare all the ingredients for making kharcho.

Wash the turkey and put in a saucepan, cover with water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, remove foam.

Cook the meat until tender. This will take an hour and a half, depending on the age of the bird.

Peel, wash and finely chop the onions. Place in a skillet. Pour in 20 ml. refined sunflower oil and lightly fry the onion until translucent.

Place the onion in a saucepan with broth and start cooking the kharcho.

After 10-15 minutes, add the washed rice to the saucepan.

Pour 20 ml into the pan. sunflower oil. Add tomato paste and tomatoes, which must be pre-chopped in any way. Simmer these ingredients in a skillet for 5 minutes.

When the rice in the soup is done, add the tomato and tomato paste. Salt to taste, add seasoning. Cook the kharcho for another 5-7 minutes on low heat.

At the end of cooking, chop the garlic and place in a saucepan.

Add chopped herbs and boiled turkey meat to the finished soup.

The turkey kharcho soup is ready. Serve at lunchtime. Enjoy your meal!
