- Water - 455 Milliliters (80 ml - for barbecue, 375 ml - for stewing)
- Vegetable oil - 40 Milliliters
- Nutritional Yeast - 2 Tbsp spoons
- Onion Powder - 1/2 Tbsp. spoons
- Garlic Powder - 1 Teaspoon
- Seasoning - 1/2 Teaspoon (for chicken)
- Salt - 1/2 Teaspoon
- Wheat Gluten - 250 Milliliters
- BBQ sauce - 2 tbsp. spoons
- Lean mayonnaise - 2 Tbsp. spoons
- Apple cider vinegar - 1 tbsp. the spoon
- Onion - 1 Piece
- Soy sauce - 2 Tbsp. spoons

How to cook "Lean Shish kebab"

Prepare all ingredients.

In a blender, grind the tofu with vegetable oil, water, spices and nutritional yeast until smooth.

Pour the resulting puree into a bowl of gluten.

Stir. Leave it on for 10 minutes to activate the gluten.

Cut the dough into small pieces according to the size of the future kebab (taking into account that after cooking they will become larger) and fry on both sides for a couple of minutes until golden brown.

Then cover with water and soy sauce and simmer for about 30 minutes until the liquid evaporates.

Cool the resulting pieces.

Prepare a marinade with mayonnaise, barbecue sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Add chopped onion rings and shashlik pieces. Stir, leave for at least 30 minutes, and preferably a couple of hours.

String the pieces of kebab onto the skewers. Fry in the electric grill for 10-15 minutes until golden brown. If you grill a kebab over an open fire, 7-10 minutes is enough.

Lean kebab is ready. Good appetite!
