Fried pies on choux pastry cook much faster than on regular yeast dough. So this recipe will come in handy for every housewife. For the recipe, you need a simple set of ingredients: wheat flour, vegetable oil, hot water, salt and yeast. For the filling, I used boiled potatoes and aromatic dill. But you can fry pies with other fillings. For example, with meat or cabbage.

- Wheat flour - 350 grams
- Yeast - 15 Grams (fresh, alcoholic)
- Water - 180 grams (boiling water)
- Vegetable oil - 40 grams
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Potatoes - 400 grams (for filling)
- Dill - 5 grams (for filling)

How to make "Choux pastry fried pies"

Prepare your ingredients.

Pour boiling water into a bowl, add salt, add 100 grams of flour.

Brew flour, stir.

When the brewed flour is cool and not hot, add the yeast.

Pour vegetable oil into the dough.

Add the rest of the flour and season with salt to taste.

Knead an elastic, soft, elastic dough, it should not stick to your hands. Set aside the bowl of dough and cover with a towel. In the meantime, get busy with the stuffing. It can be made with potatoes, cabbage, or fried mushrooms, according to your taste.

Boil peeled potatoes until tender, salt and mash in mashed potatoes. You can pour in a little hot broth to soften the filling.

Add finely chopped dill to the filling.

Divide the dough into 6-7 balls, roll each into a thin cake using a rolling pin.

Place the potato filling in the center - about 1 tbsp. l.

Blind pies.

Fry the pies on both sides in a skillet with vegetable oil. Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side, the dough should be well done.

Serve the finished pies on choux pastry. They turned out to be very soft and tasty. Enjoy your meal!
