How to cook "Romanian cabbage rolls"

Prepare all ingredients.

Cut the onion into cubes. Grate the carrots. Fry vegetables in vegetable oil until soft.

Combine minced meat, sautéed vegetables and rinsed rice in a deep bowl. Add salt and spices to taste.

Mix everything well.

Boil cabbage in boiling salted water. As the top leaves soften, remove and transfer to a colander.

To pour, combine grated cheese, diced tomatoes, sour cream, garlic and herbs passed through a press. Pour in the required amount of hot water, add salt, spices to taste and mix everything well.

Cut a thick vein off the cabbage leaf and place some minced meat in the middle.

Roll the cabbage roll and lay with the seam down. Thus, form all the cabbage rolls.

Transfer the prepared cabbage rolls to a greased baking dish.

Pour the stuffed cabbage on top with the prepared filling (the amount of liquid depends on the desired amount of sauce). Bake cabbage rolls in the oven at 180-200 degrees for about 45 minutes.

The Romanian stuffed cabbage rolls are ready.

Enjoy your meal!
