Lean pumpkin porridge with millet is prepared very simply and quickly. It turns out to be tender, aromatic and tasty. Millet normalizes blood pressure, helps fight anemia and edema. And in combination with pumpkin it is doubly useful. Instead of sugar, you can add dried fruits and honey to the porridge.

- Pumpkin - 500 Grams
- Millet - 5 Art. spoons
- Salt - To taste
- Sugar - To taste
- Sunflower oil - 20 Milliliters
How to cook "Lean Millet Porridge with Pumpkin"
Prepare the ingredients for making the porridge.
Peel the pumpkin, wash and cut into small pieces. Place in a heavy-bottomed saucepan or cauldron.
Pour in 100-150 ml. water. Cover the saucepan with a lid and cook the pumpkin until soft.
Then mash the pumpkin to a puree consistency.
Rinse the millet well and add to the pumpkin saucepan. Pour in another 150 ml. water and cook porridge until millet is done.
Add salt and sugar to taste.
Pour in refined sunflower oil and stir the porridge.
Warm up the porridge for another 5-6 minutes and turn it off.
Lean porridge with pumpkin and millet is ready. Can be served at the table.
