Below I will tell you more about how to make kolivo. My recipe is not entirely traditional, but it is quick and easy to prepare. If desired, you can replace the spelled with wheat grains. You can use honey or sugar instead of date syrup. Traditionally, kolivo is brought to church on the Friday of the first week of Lent.

How to cook "Kolivo"
Prepare all ingredients.
Pour the raisins with hot water, then drain the water. If the cranberries are tough, they can also be rinsed in water.
Fill the poppy with hot water. When the water has cooled, drain the water, add 1-2 tbsp. clean water and rub the poppy seeds with a pestle.
Rinse the spelled, cover with clean water and put on medium heat. Add a pinch of salt. Cook for about 20 minutes over low heat.
When the porridge is almost cooked, pour in the soy milk and cook until tender, stirring constantly.
Finally, add raisins, cranberries, poppy seeds and sweet syrup to the porridge. Stir.
Enjoy your meal!
