Cooking description:
Making a dill roll is very simple. I will use ready-made puff pastry, but if you wish, you can use any homemade one, and both puff pastry and regular yeast recipes are suitable. Take whatever you like best as the filling, there is a lot of room for imagination here. I have fragrant garlic and fresh herbs today. Delicious, simple and fast!

How to cook "Dill roll"

Prepare all ingredients.

Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface. Step back slightly from one edge, brush with soft butter and sprinkle with garlic passed through a press.

Season with salt and sprinkle with chopped dill.

Fold over the edges on three sides as shown in the photo.

Then roll up a not very tight roll.

Gently transfer the roll to a baking sheet lined with parchment. Brush with yolk on all sides and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake at 190-200 degrees for about 25 minutes. The top should be browned.

The dill roll is ready. Let it cool slightly, then cut into portions and serve. Enjoy your meal!
Chef's advice:
If desired, the roll can be sprinkled with grated cheese on top.
