- Boiling water - 100 Milliliters
- Wheat flour - 7 Art. spoons
- Sugar - 2 Tbsp. spoons
- Salt - 1 Pinch
- Vegetable oil - 1.5 Art. spoons
How to cook "Custard pancakes in milk with holes"
Prepare the indicated ingredients.
Whisk the chicken eggs into a deep bowl. Pour in milk of any fat content and add sugar, salt. Whisk everything with a whisk for about 1-2 minutes.
Stir in the wheat flour and beat in the thick pancake dough. It will turn out to be thicker. Then pour boiling water into the dough and beat it quickly again. Remember that boiling water must be added after the flour, but not before it, otherwise the egg mass will curdle! Pour in vegetable oil and mix the dough.
Since the dough is steamed with boiling water, it does not need to be allowed to rest for 15-20 minutes. Heat the skillet immediately and brush it with vegetable oil for the first time. Preheat the skillet still and turn the heat down. Pour some of the dough onto it and scroll quickly. The dough will form holes. Fry the pancake on both sides for a minute on medium heat.
Prepare the rest of the pancakes in the same way, pouring the dough into a hot skillet. Place them on a plate and serve with honey. You do not need to wrap the filling in such pastries - it will seep through the holes.
