Milk sauce is a great alternative to store-bought creams, toppings and syrups. It has far fewer calories and more health benefits, especially if you make it with boiled farm milk. You can add a couple of drops of any flavor to the sauce, if desired.

- Milk - 300 Milliliters (any fat content)
- Potato starch - 3 tbsp. spoons
- Sugar - 2-3 tbsp. spoons
- Butter - 20 grams
How to make Sweet Milk Sauce
Prepare the indicated ingredients. Instead of milk, it is permissible to use not too heavy cream, and instead of potato starch - corn.
Pour sugar and starch into a cauldron or saucepan with a non-stick bottom. By the way, it is permissible to replace sugar with flower honey.
Pour cold milk into the container, it is cold, otherwise the starch in the warm liquid will collapse into lumps and you will end up with a sauce with lumps! Stir the entire contents of the container thoroughly.
Place the container on the stove and bring it to a near boil, but do not boil. Reduce heat to low and stir in butter. Turn off heating. Remember, the sauce shouldn't get thick - it's not cream! And when it cools, the sauce thickens even more, so as soon as you see that the liquid has begun to thicken, turn off the heating.
Pour the sweet milk sauce into a bowl, bowl or gravy boat, serve with fresh baked goods.
