How to cook "Vegetables with tomato sauce"

Prepare the indicated ingredients.

Peel potatoes and onions and rinse in water. If you are using carrots or other vegetables that require peeling, peel and rinse them as well. Cut the potato tubers into medium cubes, and cut the washed corn cobs into 3-4 pieces. Pour vegetable oil into a skillet and heat. Arrange the slices and fry them for 10-12 minutes until half cooked.

Cut the peeled onion into half rings and add to the container. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Stir the tomato paste with sugar, salt and water to create a sauce.

Pour the tomato sauce into a skillet and simmer the vegetables in it for about 10-15 minutes until tender. It is impossible to pour in tomato sauce immediately, as it increases the cooking time and vegetables will be stewed in it without preliminary frying for at least 50-60 minutes!

After the specified time, turn off the heat, decorate the dish with fresh herbs and serve it directly in the pan.
