Pea soup is a simple dish that does not require special culinary skills. You just need to know that when the peas start to boil, they behave very violently. Therefore, you do not need to immediately cover the pan with a lid. There will be a lot of foam from the peas. Reduce the fire to a minimum and gradually remove the foam. Then cover the pot with a lid and continue to cook the soup.

- Turkey Wing - 400 Grams
- Water - 1.5 Liters
- Potatoes - 2-3 Pieces

- Sunflower oil - 20 Milliliters
- Peas - 1.5 Cups (dry, shelled)
- Salt - To taste
- Ground black pepper - To taste

How to make Turkey Pea Soup

Prepare the ingredients for making pea soup.

Wash the turkey and place in a saucepan.

Pour in water and place the pot on the stove.

Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, remove foam and cook turkey for 1.5-2 hours until tender.

Wash well in advance and fill the peas with cold boiled water. Let it swell for 8-10 hours, or better overnight.

Strain the finished turkey broth and put the swollen peas in it. Bring to a boil and remove the foam, there will be a lot of it. Cook the soup until the peas are almost done.

Peel and wash carrots and onions. Finely chop the onion and grate the carrots. Place in a skillet with sunflower oil.

Simmer vegetables lightly in a skillet for 7-8 minutes. You do not need to fry too much.

Then add to the pot with peas.

Peel, wash and chop the potatoes. Also add to soup.

Cook the soup until all ingredients are cooked, season with salt and pepper to taste.

Add the boiled turkey to the prepared soup.

The turkey pea soup is ready. Serve as a first at lunch.
