You can make a lean jellied pie with any favorite filling, today I have an option with stewed cabbage. If desired, you can add fresh herbs or any seasonal vegetables to the cabbage. The pie is delicious, tender and satisfying. Suitable for gatherings with tea in a circle of loved ones or as a snack during the day.

Ingredients:
- Flour - 200 Grams
- Water - 250 Milliliters
- Vegetable oil - 2 Tbsp. spoons (and a little for the filling)
- Sugar - 2 Teaspoons (+ 1 tsp for the filling)
- Dry yeast - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 0.5 Teaspoons
- Cabbage - 300 Grams
- Onion - 1 Piece
- Sesame - 1 Tbsp. the spoon

How to make Lean Jellied Pie

Prepare all ingredients.

Combine flour, yeast, salt and sugar in a deep bowl.

Add water and vegetable oil.

Stir and let the dough sit for 30 minutes.

In the meantime, prepare the filling. The filling can be very diverse, I have cabbage today. Simmer cabbage and onions in a pan, add sugar and salt to taste at the end. You can add ground pepper.

Grease a baking dish with butter (I have a baking dish 18 cm in diameter). Sprinkle the bottom and sides with flour or semolina. Divide the dough into 2 equal parts. Pour one part into a mold and spread the filling evenly on top.

Spread the remaining dough over the top and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes.

Lean jellied pie is ready.
