How to cook "Spelled Pilaf with Chicken"

Prepare the required ingredients.

Rinse the spelled in several waters and soak for 1 hour.

Cut the clean and peeled carrots into medium strips, chop the onion into medium cubes.

Take a cauldron or brazier with a thick bottom. Pour vegetable oil into it and heat it up. Cut the chicken into medium-sized pieces. Dip them in heated, but not boiling oil. Fry the chicken on all sides over medium heat until light golden brown.

Add prepared carrots and onions to the fried chicken. Fry everything together, stirring frequently.

When the vegetables are fried, add spices for pilaf, cumin (first rub it in your palms), salt, pepper.

Pour boiling water over the contents of a cauldron or brazier. The water level should be just above the chicken. Simmer the chicken for 5 minutes.

Throw the spelled on a sieve, let the liquid drain.

Add cereal to a cauldron or brazier.

Top up with more boiling water. The water level should be 2 cm above the spelled. Try it with salt. You may need to add a little salt. Close the lid. Put on the slowest heat and simmer for 1 hour 30 minutes. Add the unpeeled garlic 30 minutes before cooking and continue cooking, covered, until tender.

Stir the finished pilaf and serve immediately.

Enjoy your meal!
