Pork ribs are prepared very simply and quickly if the meat is young. It separates easily from the bone and literally melts in the mouth. Sauerkraut adds a piquant sourness. Put any spices to your taste, and at the end you can add chopped garlic. If desired, these ribs can be served with mashed potatoes as a side dish.

How to cook "Sauerkraut with pork ribs"
Prepare the ingredients for the sauerkraut ribs.
Wash the ribs, dry them and, if they are long, cut them into two parts. Pour sunflower oil into a thick-bottomed saucepan or cauldron, heat and lay out the ribs.
Fry the ribs until light golden brown on all sides.
Peel, wash and chop the onions. Add to saucepan.
Fry the ribs with onions for 7-8 minutes, stirring. After that, pour the water so that it covers the meat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cover the saucepan with a lid and simmer the meat until half cooked over medium heat. Then lay out the sauerkraut, which should be squeezed out of the brine before that.
Add the bay leaf to the saucepan 10 minutes before cooking.
Pork ribs with sauerkraut are ready.
Serve fragrant, tender ribs with sauerkraut for the second lunch and on the festive table as a hot dish.
