How to make Caramelized Burger Onions

Prepare your ingredients.

Cut the onion into feathers or rings as you like.

Preheat a frying pan, add olive or any other vegetable oil, put onion. Simmer for 5-7 minutes over low heat, then cover and continue simmering over low heat for another 10-15 minutes.

Add salt, sugar to taste and simmer for another 5-7 minutes, stirring it not very often.

Pour in dry wine and balsamic wine vinegar and continue to fry over low heat until the liquid evaporates and browns.

Transfer the caramelized onions to a glass container, which can be stored in a cool place for about three days, or use to make burgers. However, it is also good as an addition to a side dish or for sandwiches.
