Making potato burger buns at home is easy enough. The buns are tender, airy and very tasty. You can use them for making various hamburgers, or simply serve buns for tea with honey, butter or jam.

- Potatoes - 100 Grams (boiled in peel)
- Kefir - 150 Milliliters
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon
- Sugar - 1 Teaspoon
- Yeast - 1 Teaspoon (dry)
- Butter - 30 Grams
- Flour - 350 Grams
- Yolk - 1 Piece (for greasing)
- Sesame - 1 Tbsp. the spoon
How to make Potato Burger Buns
Prepare all ingredients. Cook the potatoes in advance and refrigerate.
Combine soft butter with salt, sugar and yeast.
Add kefir and finely grated potatoes.
Mix everything and add flour in parts.
Knead a soft and elastic dough. Collect it in a ball, cover with a towel and place the bowl in a warm place for about 1 hour.
During this time, the dough should approximately double.
Divide the dough into 6-9 pieces, depending on the desired bun size. Dip the slices in flour, form into balls and transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment. Cover the blanks with a clean towel and let sit for another 1 hour.
Then brush the top with whipped yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake in the oven at 210 degrees for about 30 minutes.
The potato burger buns are ready.
