Today I propose you to cook the simplest batter - water, flour, egg and spices - it’s easier than you can imagine. This batter is perfect for any fish. Cooking batter takes a few minutes, it keeps its shape well and turns out not rubber, but tender and tasty.

Ingredients:
- Water - 3 Art. spoons
- Chicken eggs - 1 Piece
- Wheat flour - 2-2.5 Art. spoons
- Pollock - 1 Piece
- Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp. spoons
- Salt - To taste
- Pepper - To taste
- Spices and herbs - To taste (for fish, optional)

How to cook "Simple fish batter"

Prepare your ingredients.

Pour water into a bowl and beat in a chicken egg. Add salt and pepper at once.

Pour wheat flour into a bowl.

Mix all ingredients well with a whisk.

Cut the fish in portions and transfer to batter, add spices.

Stir well so that each piece of fish is covered with batter.

Fry the fish in oil, on each side for 3-4 minutes over low heat.
