- Pork shank - 1-1.2 Kilograms
- Potatoes - 8-9 Pieces (medium size)
- Ketchup - 3 tbsp. spoons
- Soy sauce - 5 Tbsp. spoons
- Pepper Blend - To taste
- Garlic - 4 Cloves
- Coriander - 1 Teaspoon
- Hot chili peppers - To taste
- Salt - To taste
- Mustard - 1 tbsp. the spoon
- Vegetable oil - 3 Tbsp. spoons

How to cook "Shank with potatoes in the oven"

Prepare the required ingredients.

In a bowl, combine the ketchup, soy sauce, mustard, 2 minced garlic cloves, chili, and pepper mixture.

Wash the shank, pat it dry with a paper towel. Transfer to a bowl of prepared marinade. Spread well on all sides.

Tighten the bowl with plastic wrap and store in a cool place for 10-12 hours.

Peel the potatoes before removing the shank from the refrigerator.

Cut the potatoes into large wedges; if they are small, do not cut. Transfer to a bowl. Add vegetable oil and 2 minced garlic cloves, lightly salt. Stir.

Take a roasting sleeve. Size about 50 cm. Fasten at one end. Transfer the shank and potatoes to it.

Release the air and tie at the other end. Transfer to a pan or baking sheet. Put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake for 1.5 to 2 hours, keeping in mind your oven. In my case, it took 1 hour and 20 minutes to bake. Then take it out, open the sleeve and put it on for another 15-30 minutes, so that the knuckle turns brown.

After the time has elapsed, remove the shank with potatoes from the oven.

Transfer to the serving dish.
