Cooking description:
It is better to harvest cranberries during the harvest season. The most fortified is simply the berry mass grated with sugar, but for longer storage it is recommended to bring it to a boil and put it in sterile hot jars, containers, close tightly and store in the cold. The shelf life of such a blank is 2-3 months.

How to cook "Cranberries with sugar"

Prepare the indicated ingredients.

Pour the cranberries into a deep container, add water and rinse the berries, removing the stems and leaves.

Drain and transfer the cranberries to the chopper bowl or deep container if you will purée with the hand blender.

Grind for 2-3 minutes. If you wish, you can skip all the berries, leaving some of them whole.

Put the berry mass in a saucepan or cauldron, ladle. Add granulated sugar. If you want to replace sugar with honey, then it is better to do this after boiling and cooling the berry mass, otherwise honey will lose its beneficial properties. In general, you can boil the mass with honey - the sweetness will remain, the honey will not become a carcinogen!

On minimal heat, bring the mass to a boil, then turn off the heat and immediately place the cranberries, mashed with sugar, in hot sterile containers. If you have a refrigerator of a modern model, which excludes mold of "live" jam, then you can do without cooking.

Serve the prepared delicacy to the table with tea, cookies, any pastries.
