- Black tea - 2 Pieces (two sachets without additives)
- Vegetable oil - 50 Milliliters
- Black peppercorns - 10-15 Pieces
- Bay leaf - 5-6 pieces
- Water - 100 Milliliters

How to cook "Homemade Baltic herring sprats"

Prepare the indicated ingredients.

Rinse the fish in water, tear off the head from each of them and remove the insides along with the black film. Rinse thoroughly.

Place the top in a cauldron, ladle or pan with a non-stick bottom, preferably in rows.

Add salt, black peppercorns, bay leaves, and tea bags.

Pour in odorless vegetable oil: olive, sunflower, corn.

Pour in water and place the container on the stove, including the lowest heat. If you wish, you can put a saucer on the fish so that they do not open and break during cooking.

Cover the container with a lid and simmer for about 20 minutes from the moment of boiling.

Put the prepared sprats on a plate and serve both hot and cold - they are equally tasty.
