The dish is very tasty and you can certainly cook it in the summer season, when there is an abundance of fresh vegetables or at any other time of the year, since the ingredients are all simple and affordable. If desired, you can add bell peppers or any other vegetables to taste. It is better to serve cabbage soup with sour cream, meat and fresh herbs.

Ingredients:
- Meat broth - 2.5 Liters (can be replaced with water)
- Cabbage - 250 Grams
- Tomatoes - 200 Grams
- Potatoes - 4-5 Pieces
- Onion - 1 Piece
- Carrots - 1 Piece
- Garlic - 2-3 Cloves
- Vegetable oil - 2-3 tbsp. spoons
- Salt - To taste
- Spices - To taste
- Greens - To taste

How to cook "Cabbage soup with tomatoes"

Prepare all ingredients.

Chop the cabbage thinly.

Cut the potatoes into small cubes.

Dice the onion and grate the carrots.

Fry vegetables in vegetable oil until soft, add diced tomatoes and your favorite spices (I have a set for the first courses).

Fry everything together for 2-3 minutes.

Strain the finished broth.

Add grilled vegetables, cabbage, potatoes and salt to taste. After simmering, simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes, or until all ingredients are cooked through.

In the meantime, chop the garlic and any seasonal herbs with a knife.

Add garlic with herbs a couple of minutes until tender. Stir, remove from heat and let the soup steep for another 15-20 minutes. Fresh cabbage soup with tomatoes are ready.
