Cooking description:
Lecho without tomatoes is a great option when you want to cook your favorite snack, but the tomato harvest is not at all successful. The pepper turns out to be very tasty, no worse than the traditional version! Perfect as a side dish for meat dishes, as a salad or as an independent snack. How to cook "Lecho without tomato"

Prepare all ingredients.

Rinse the pepper, remove the seeds and cut into 3-4 pieces.

In a heavy-bottomed bowl, combine water, oil, salt, sugar and vinegar essence. Bring to a boil while stirring.

Place the chopped peppers in the boiling brine.

Simmer the peppers, covered, over medium heat for 8-10 minutes. The pepper should be soft, but should not lose its shape. At the end of cooking, it is best to try the future workpiece in order to adjust the taste as desired (the recipe does not require strict proportions).

Put the finished lecho hot without tomatoes in pre-sterilized glass jars. It is necessary to fold the peppers tightly enough, but so that the brine is evenly distributed. Tighten the jars with sterile lids and leave to cool completely, then transfer to a cool place for storage. Approximately 3 500 ml jars come out of the specified amount

Happy blanks!
Chef's advice:
To obtain a brighter taste, red bell pepper should prevail - about 2/3 of the total amount taken.
