How to make "Sea buckthorn jam for the winter"

Prepare all ingredients.

Rinse the berry, remove excess leaves and twigs.

Transfer the berries to a saucepan.

Add sugar and stir gently. Leave it at room temperature for a few hours. I leave for the night.

Then, over low heat, constantly stirring, bring the jam to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes, removing the resulting foam in the process. If the berry has given enough juice overnight, then you can pour in a little water. Literally 50-100 ml., No more.

Pour the prepared hot sea buckthorn jam into sterilized jars and tighten with sterile lids. I got two 250 ml jars. Turn the jars, wrap them up and leave to cool, then put them in a cool dark place for storage.
